Six Basic Characteristics of a Civilization:
As human society grew and became more complex, a new form of human existance came into being; civilization. This was one of the results of the Neolithic Revolution.
Some examples of civilizations are the Tigris-Euphrates civilization and the Indian and Chinese river valley civilizations.
