Bedouin is a nomadic culture that developed in the scrub zones on the edges of the uninhabitable desert zones in Arabia near the Arabian Peninsula. Along with its nomadic culture, the bedouin world in which religion arose shaped the career of the prophet, Muhammad, his teachings, and spread of the beliefs of Islam. The bedouin culture was also extensive in Mecca and Medina.
