The Young Turks were the bringing together of various groups who favored reforming the political adminstation or leader in the Ottoman Empire of Europe. The Young Turk Revolution they brought about in 1908 started with military students and branched its way into other parts and different groups who all oppossed the ideas of Sultan Abdul Hamid II monarchy and favoring the idea of a paliamentary system. When establishing the Comittee of Union and Progress and gaining what they had fought for different members of the Young Turks (like the Three Pashas) ruled up until World War I.
