Sunni is the largest branch of Islam, making up about 90% of the religion's followers. They accepted Abu Bakr being chosen by Shurah. Sunnis claim to be the continuation of the beliefs defined through the revelations of Muhammad. Sunni differs from Shi'ite in that they recognize the caliph as the Muslim world leader instead of the desendants of Ali.

Sunni is the largest group in Islam.
