Orthodox ChristianityThis is a featured page

The Eastern Orthodox churches were of Byzantine tradition. The head of the Church is Jesus while the church is considered the body. It is believed that the grace of god is handed down to the churches bishops by laying of the hands. Orthodox Christians believe that God is both three and one, the Holy Trinity. The Holy Trinity is also the symbol of faith. By Gods participation in life, death, and resurrection humans can return to original purity and regain heaven.
