Neolithic RevolutionThis is a featured page

The Neolithic Revolution is the shift from the hunting of animals and gathering of food to the domestication of animals and the growing of food that eventually changed the expansion and growth of humans. The Neolithic Revolution took place around 10-12 thousand years ago during prehistory, or before written history. Humans were able to stay in one area , and switched from being hunter-gatherers to agriculture farmers and animal herders. Of course, though, this process took over thousands of years and spread from the Fertile Crescent in the Middle East to across the entire world. Due to this explosion of agriculture, population worldwide increases from 6-8 million people to approximately 100 million 3000 years later. The Neolithic Revolution was the spark of human conquest, civilizations, and empires.
