Marie Antoinette
Full Name: Maria Antonia Josepha Johanna Habsburg-Lothringen Life Span: Novermber 2, 1755- October 16, 1793

Marie Antoinette was born as an Archdutchess of Austria and later became the Queen of France by marrying king Louis XVI at age 14. She was widely known for living a lavish life filled with the most expensive jewels and the most expensive parties. She is also known by her people as "Madame Deficite" for this extensive spending. One of her favorite things to do when she felt like getting away from the courtroom was to go to the "peasant's cottage" which was a "simple" house that was built for her so she could stay there. The cottage, was definitely not a very simple house though, it cost much more than most peasants would actually make in a year. She seemed indifferent to the starving citizens of her country. During the French Revolution, she was also found giving the Austrian army advice about the whereabouts of the French. She was executed by the guillotine at the height of the French Revolution for the crime of treason.
