Hinduism is the oldest and most complex of all religious systems. Providing an adequate history for the development of Hinduism is difficult, since it has no specific founder or theology and originated in the religious practices of Aryan tribes who moved to India from central Asia more than three thousand years ago. Hinduism orignates in the indian Subcontinent. Hinduism is the world's oldest existent religion, Hinduism had its origin in the religous beliefs of Aryan people who settled in India after 1500 B.C. Evidence about the religious beliefts of the Aryan peoples comes from the Vedas, collections of hymns and religious ceremonies that were passed down orally through the centuries by Aryan priests and then eventually written down.
Early Hindus believed in the existence of a single force in the universe, a form of ultimate reality or God, called Brahman. It was the duty of the individual self called the atman to seek to know this ultimate reality. By doing so, the self would merge with Brahman after death.they also belived in reincarnation, authority of vedas, and the law of Karma that determines ones destiny both in this life and the next. Hinduism has about 900 million followers of the religion

India's caste system is also inforced by Hinduism, combining social structure with religious support.
