Georges Jacques Danton was born on October 26, 1759 and died April 5,1794. He played an important role in the French Revolution, Committee of Public Safety, and Commune of Paris. Danton was supposedly chief of the overthrow of the monarchy. When the new republic was created he became the Minister of Justice and a head in the Provisional Executive Council. On March 30, 1794, Danton was accused of conspiracy against authority and was guillotined.
