Aristotle
Aristotle was a student of Plato, another great philosopher. However, Aristotle did not agree with Plato's theory of ideal forms. He was interested in analyzing and observing things in order to make his own conclusions about them.

Aristotle wanted a new and effective way of governing the Athenian people. Rather than trying to create an ideal state, he tried to find a favorable form of government by analyzing existing governments. He favored constitutional government.

Aristotle served as a tutor for Alexander the Great.
